    Street fightin' man

By DAN PROUDFOOT -- Toronto Sun
      The street fighter returns.
Michael Andretti re-established himself as a player in the 2000 CART FedEx Championship in his own mind as well as everyone else's as he won the Molson Indy yesterday.

    ... and Tracy proudly is!

By DAN PROUDFOOT -- Toronto Sun
For once, Paul Tracy found satisfaction from standing up to the pressure rather than applying it.

    Hard charger? Tagliani qualifies

By MIKE KOREEN -- Toronto Sun
If the Player's/Forsythe team figures out a way to end its qualifying woes, Alexandre Tagliani is confident he'll be a force to be reckoned with during races.

Irked Carpentier must get a grip

By MIKE KOREEN -- Toronto Sun
Patrick Carpentier knows he is starting to sound like a broken record.
The only problem is there is nothing he can do about it.
After each street race during the past month, Carpentier has had the same complaint about his car's poor grip.

    T.O. pole-faulting

By DAN PROUDFOOT -- Toronto Sun
In 15 Molson Indys to date, Michael Andretti remains the only pole-winner who went on to win the race, back in 1991.
It's getting worse. With Helio Castroneves, this year's fastest qualifier, completing only 45 laps, five consecutive Molson Indy pole-winners have failed to finish. The previous fast guy to complete the distance was Jacques Villeneuve in 1995.
