Pillman will be missed

PARTS UNKNOWN -- Wrestler Brian Pillman lived life by the seat of his pants.
Dubbed the Loose Cannon, Pillman was a character with charisma in a sport that thrives on such qualities.
Pillman also had skeletons in his closet. A car accident stripped away much of his high-flying skills and left him relying heavily on pain killers to continue his career. A former girlfriend committed suicide. And Pillman's dad died of a heart attack with the youngster still in diapers.
Still, it was a shock when Pillman died suddenly at age 35 last weekend in suburban Minneapolis. The cause of death has yet to be determined, but wife Melanie suggested it might have been a heart attack in an appearance on Monday's RAW is WAR.
The wrestling world will miss Flyin' Brian.
AROUND THE WWF: The Undertaker-Shawn Michaels Hell in a Cell match at last weekend's Badd Blood easily was one of the best matches, making up for a mediocre card. The appearance of the 'Taker's evil younger brother Cain (Glen Jacobs, formerly Isaac Yankem) also was done well ... Stone Cold Steve Austin has signed to face Owen Hart for the Intercontinental title (the signing was taped last Tuesday). Austin continues to be the best wrestling personality in the world ... Canadian Don Callis is the new leader of the Truth Commission ... The Legion of Doom has defeated the Godwinns for the tag team straps. The match will on this week's RAW ... There's tension between Michaels and his Kliq and Vince McMahon: Michaels has been ruthlessly taunting Vinny Mac ... Rockabilly turned on Honkytonk Man and is once again Billy Gunn.
WCW BITS: Jeff Jarrett is out of the WCW, after rejecting a $300,000 deal. The WWF may be interested ... One of the Nitro Girls popped out of her top last Monday, a moment making the rounds on the Internet.
