Hamilton 2003 Road World Cycling Championships schedule - Wednesday, October 8
Today is the second day of racing at the 2003 Road World Cycling Championships, cycling fans will be able to enjoy the Time Trial races for the Junior Men (18 and under) and Elite Women (19 and above).
RACE SCHEDULE
Both races will utilize the Long Time Trial Course - 20.8 km
In the Time Trial, riders start one minute apart in an individual race against the clock, with the rider recording the fastest time being declared the winner
11:30 a.m. to 1:55 p.m. - Junior Men Time Trial - 1 lap for a total race distance of 20.8 km
* Canadians Participating - Canadian TT Champion Kevin Lacombe (Amos, QC) and Christian Meier (Sussex, NB)
2:10 p.m. to 4:00 p.m. - Elite Women Time Trial - 1 lap for a total race distance of 20.8 km
* Canadians Participating - Canadian TT Champion Lyne Bessette (Lac Brome, QC) and Genevieve Jeanson (Lachine, QC)
FESTIVAL
The Festival kicks into high gear on Thursday, October 9
TICKETS
Tickets for today's races for the Gold Grandstand at the Start / Finish Line are available at the Copps Coliseum Box Office and for the Silver Standing area on the Claremont Access at the bottom and top of the Access. Tickets are also on-sale through Ticketmaster by phone or on-line at www.ticketmaster.ca
