On Friday, August 1, the Hamilton 2003 Organizing Committee staged a Media Luncheon at Liuna Station for representatives of the 2004 Verona-Bardolino Organizing Committee who were visiting Hamilton. Agostino Omini (Director of Operations Verona-Bardolino 2004 and UCI Vice President) and Gabrielle Sola (Director of Marketing and Communications Verona-Bardolino 2004) were in Hamilton making preparations for the Verona presentation which will take place on Thursday, October 10 during the 2003 Road World Championships.
