Schools: Celebrate the Spirit of Cycling
Art Exhibition Details:
Select 3-5 pieces of work from each class to be submitted (teacher's discretion in selection process)
Neatly mount selected pieces on coloured paper
Label each piece with student's first name only, grade level and school. Title is optional
Information to be included on the back - student's full name, teacher contact for return of work
Place selected works in board mail clearly indicating that it should be directed to the "Spirit of Cycling Art Exhibition"
Use other student works for a cycling art exhibit within the school
Students may look for their work at one of the following locations:
City Hall
Jackson Square (gallery in empty store location)
Hamilton Children's Museum
Royal Connaught Hotel
Sheraton Hotel
Various stores in downtown area
Conservatory of Arts
John Bryden's office in Dundas
And many others to be confirmed
All students who create work for the exhibit will receive a "Celebrate the Spirit of Cycling" Certificate of Excellence for their personal portfolios. Their names will also be entered in a draw for two tickets to the opening ceremonies on Sunday, October 5.
All work being submitted for the exhibition must be in board mail by September 30
