His obvious love for his adopted country has made him a favourite of sport fans across the country. Canadian Sport Awards Finalists AnnouncedOTTAWA -- The Spirit of Sport Foundation have announced the Finalists for the 28th annual Canadian Sport Awards presented by Investors Group, to be held in Toronto on March 20, 2001. More than 100 individuals were nominated for awards to be presented in 11 categories. As well, over 25 corporations were nominated in four categories recognizing the tremendous support Corporate Canada has provided to amateur sport.
