Jennifer Robinson has been Canada's top women's singles skater for several years. She has competed at five world championships, her best
result an eighth-place finish at the 2000 worlds in Nice, France. She has also won four national titles including the last three in a row.
She has added a triple-triple combination to her long program which is based on a wedding theme. Robinson is engaged to be married next
year. She expects this season to be her last as an amateur and hopes to turn professional next season.
Robinson was attracted to figure skating at age eight after watching an Ice Capades show. Her brother Jason was drafted by the NHL's Tampa
Bay Lightning in 1996 but has yet to crack their line-up.
