Donald Farley heads to the Olympics as the most experienced cross country
skier on the Canadian team. Farley is an 11-time national champion who was
ill when he competed at the Nagano Olympics. He is looking forward to
having a more enjoyable experience in 2002.
"Salt Lake is a great opportunity to do well since we won't have to deal
with much travel or time change," he said.
The general science graduate from the University of Waterloo posted two
top-20 finishes at the World Cup on the Olympic course last season. He'll
likely be the only Canadian male entry in the sport.
