David Anderson qualified for the Olympics last season at the world championships with a 10th place finish in the combined downhill. It was a great highlight for Anderson in an otherwise disappointing season. He did not register a single point on the World Cup circuit and has taken a different approach to this campaign.

He has competed on the Noram and Europa Cup circuits and gained confidence with victories in three straight Noram super G races. " I needed to work on the technical part of my races," he said. Anderson plans to return to the World Cup circuit in January.

Anderson's nickname is Air Canada. He also likes to bungee jump, downhill mountain bike and also skydive.
