SYDNEY, Australia (AP) -- Denmark defended its Olympic gold medal in women's handball, coming back from a six-goal deficit to beat Hungary 31-27 in Sunday's final.
Katrine Fruelund's goal tied the game at 23-23 with 9:40 left, after Denmark fought back to overcome Hungary's six-goal lead.

SYDNEY, Australia (AP) -- The only thing that Australia's women's handball team gave its fans to enjoy was a moving rendition of the national anthem.
The team led the crowd in song before the game and then got routed 39-10 Saturday by Austria -- eliminating the home team from medal contention.
