Forward Claudia Brassard-Riebesehl played professionally last season in
Limoges, France where she averaged 7.7 points per game. She enjoyed a
successful college career at Southern Methodist University advancing t the
NCAA tournament in 1999. She was a first team all star in her conference
in 1999, second team in 1998 and was SMU's player of the year in 1997-98.
She majored in mechanical engineering and holds a Masters in liberal arts.
She has played in 28 international games including 17 last season with Team
Canada in the Pan Am Games and Olympic qualification tournaments.
